Emergencies happen, but we’re ready to be the team you turn to for help.
Call us immediately if you or someone you know is experiencing an eye emergency. If the emergency takes place outside our office hours, please visit your nearest emergency room for help.
Internal Versus External Emergencies
Many emergencies can come from external sources, like punctures, scrapes, scratches, particle embedment, or even trauma. But internal issues, like eye diseases, can also cause emergency symptoms.
Eye diseases like closed-angle glaucoma and wet macular degeneration could cause sudden vision loss, eye pain, redness, flashes and floaters, or even nausea. If you risk developing an eye disease and experience sudden vision or eye problems, please get in touch with us immediately.
